One pail will recycle up to thirty compact fluorescent bulbs. | Simple, Convenient, Cost Effective
How This Recycling System Works:
- Order a recycling kit online and wait for it to arrive via UPS. You'll receive a box with hazardous waste bags to put used light bulbs.
- Secure the end of box with two or three inch wide tape. Place spent bulbs in orange MDS bags, fold top of bag 2 times and seal end of bag with self sealing tape. This is important as the bags will protect the bulbs in transit.
- The RECYCLE KIT contains a (RED) prepaid shipping label. Do not misplace this label as
FEDEX will not pickup box if missing.
- Once the container is full, tape the box closed. Complete senders address portion on ONE of the 4 shipping labels depending on your state (SEE ZONE CHART), remove backing and
attach to end of box. Destroy all unused labels.
- Call FedEx at 1(800) GO FEDEX They will pick-up the box and deliver it to recycle center and a recycle certificate will be issued upon receipt.
- Now you can smile knowing that you prevented poisonous mercury from entering the environment.
Please Note:
· DO NOT PLACE MORE THAN 30 BULBS IN BOX REGARDLESS OF SIZE. THE BOX IS DESIGNED TO ONLY HOLD 30 T-12 OR T-8 LAMPS.
· If lamp breakage should occur, place broken glass and bulb constituents in MDS pouch provided and discard as hazardous waste
· Do not store box outdoors where it can be exposed to weather
· Do not store spent bulbs for more than one year
