Fluorescent Tube Recycling Kit - for 4-foot tubes No hassle, fluorescent recycling. Our kits make it easy to recycle your spent bulbs.
Many states are now requiring that any type of fluorescent lighting must be recycled by an authorized recycler. Our kit comes with everything you need to properly recycle your fluorescent bulbs. Simply place your spent bubs in the provided disposal bags, store them in the pail provided until it is full. When the box is full, apply the prepaid shipping label and call to have Fed-Ex come pick it up. It’s that easy!
Once the recycling kit has been received by our recycler, you will receive a certificate providing proof your bulbs were properly recycled.
One box kit will recycle up to thirty, 4-foot fluorescent tubes. Simple, Convenient, Cost Effective
How This Recycling System Works:
- Order a recycling kit online and wait for it to arrive via UPS. You'll receive a box with hazardous waste bags to put used light bulbs.
- Secure the end of box with two or three inch wide tape. Place spent bulbs in orange MDS bags, fold top of bag 2 times and seal end of bag with self sealing tape. This is important as the bags will protect the bulbs in transit.
- The RECYCLE KIT contains a (RED) prepaid shipping label. Do not misplace this label as
FEDEX will not pickup box if missing.
- Once the container is full, tape the box closed. Complete senders address portion on ONE of the 4 shipping labels depending on your state (SEE ZONE CHART), remove backing and
attach to end of box. Destroy all unused labels.
- Call FedEx at 1(800) GO FEDEX They will pick-up the box and deliver it to recycle center and a recycle certificate will be issued upon receipt.
- Now you can smile knowing that you prevented poisonous mercury from entering the environment.
Please Note:
· DO NOT PLACE MORE THAN 30 BULBS IN BOX REGARDLESS OF SIZE. THE BOX IS DESIGNED TO ONLY HOLD 30 T-12 OR T-8 LAMPS.
· If lamp breakage should occur, place broken glass and bulb constituents in MDS pouch provided and discard as hazardous waste
· Do not store box outdoors where it can be exposed to weather
· Do not store spent bulbs for more than one year

Awesome!
I received the kits in the mail, and didn't have to pay much to get it shipped to me anyway since it was so light. We were renovating a large building and needed acouple kits. Once we had them filled, we called Fed-Ex and they came and picked them up. We didn't have to store them, or lug them to the place ourselves. Acouple of weeks later, we even got a certificate in the mail stating all the bulbs we had recycled!
